The Goal:
The primary goal was to address the fragmented digital retail experience in South Africa, where full Apple Wallet functionality for local store and loyalty cards is often unavailable. The aim was to centralize shopping essentials into one accessible platform to reduce financial stress and promote smarter shopping habits by allowing users to stay within budget and easily access local store specials.
1
The Challenge:
The main challenge was designing a lightweight, seamless, and intuitive integration that centralized critical shopping data (like store specials, loyalty points, and spending history) into a single mobile wallet-inspired application. This required designing a clean user interface that could quickly provide a comprehensive tracking view while facilitating real-time budget calculations in-store.

The Result
The resulting concept successfully provided a solution that acts as a digital version of a store card. Key features include the ability to track points earned and total savings during a visit, a pre-planning Grocery List feature, and an in-app Calculator for real-time budget control before checkout. The design focuses on simplicity, clear navigation, and an aesthetic consistent with the Apple ecosystem.
